This thorny shrub flowers beautiful peach or red clusters of flowers down its branches from March to April. Also produces fruit that is inedible unless it is used in preserves. This is a tough and easy to grow shrub that is related to roses. Can get unruly in shape and prefer to be pruned while dormant.
