More like a wild rose than a camellia. This medium sized charmer rings many changes pale pink. The buds are brilliant pink in color and open to semi double blooms of soft pink with deeper shaded edges and occasional petaloids. It is recommended for the cooler climate where it flowers profusely in mid-season. In general, the plant's growth is upright and compact. It has acquired several synonyms Tinsley, Tinsley 71, Tinsley 7-11 and in China is named Tingsili Boshi
