Begonia 'Dragon Wing Begonia'
Dragon Wing Begonia
This angel-wing type begonia is a great, heat tolerant plant that can create a distinctive display in the landscape. Ed's mother uses this on her scalding hot back porch each year, and they are always fabulous. We have seen them in the landscape used with New Gold Lantana along with many other selections and they are spectacular. Blooms all summer with great foliage contrast. A must have for any landscape plan and we feel it is very under-used. Southern Living does regular write-ups about it, so make sure you have it in your garden center.
