How many names can one plant have. AKA, Tradescantia, Moses in the basket(cradle), Wash Pot Plant, and the list could go on & on. We call it purple heart. A wonderful choice for hot dry conditions. Tiny pink flowers are really not the star of this plant. Perennializes in most areas and is quite frankly annoying to some. Makes an excellent ground cover and looks stunning when paired with yellow lantana or pink vinca.
