Compact upright habit. Dr. William Ackerman of the U.S.D.A. hybridized camellias utilizing C. oleifera as a parent. He selected varieties which were superior from over 2,500 hybrids. They all bloom in the fall (September through December) , and reach an ultimate height of 5-7 feet.
