Ilex crenata 'Sky Pencil'
Sky Pencil Holly
Nice accent plant released by the National Arboretum in 1991. It was discovered in the wild near Honshu, Japan. This female cultivar transplants readily and grows well in sun or in partial shade. This plant is considered mostly allergy free and causes little or no allergy problems in most people. A favorite for any landscape. Grows tall and skinny and straight up towards the sky like a 'pencil'. One of our most popular varieties
