Dwarf Curly Leaf Japanese Privet - contorted leaf
Distinctly upright in habit and very stiff. Leaves are crowded and seem contorted. Lustrous dark green leaves that are thick and leathery. Curly leaf Privet grows in full sun or partial shade and is tolerant of a wide range of soil types, including clay as long as water is not allowed to stand in the root zone. It can withstand drought and is salt-tolerant, tolerating all but direct salt spray. Foliage of this cultivar is naturally twisted.
