Viburnum awabuki 'Chindo'
Chindo Viburnum
Rapidly becoming a replacement for many overused screen type plants. Wonderful foliage color all year long. Large, leathery, medium to light green, highly lustrous leaves. The shiny leaves are quite distinctive from the dull, dark green, blunt-tip leaves of the species. It is often used as a screen or clipped hedge. Its dense, upright, evergreen habit makes Chindo Viburnum suitable for use as a small tree, reaching only about 15 to 20 feet at maturity, with an open, multi-branched, rounded canopy. This plant is considered mostly allergy free and causes little or no allergy problems in most people.
